Sometimes when the internet is up in arms over things we have to admit that we find it somewhat comical. Comical because there are bigger things going on in the world and one needs to remember that social media is not real life.
And also social media doesn’t ever tell a full story.
TikTok sensation and Hot Mess Podcast host Alix Earle posted on her channel a video of her in bed with a heating pad on, chilling in bed, when she shows that her man just handed her a stack of cash. Well, four one-hundred dollar bills to be exact.
“I’m sitting here with my heating pad on, and my man has handed me $400,” Earle says holding up the cash. We’re hearing the words “money, money, money” play in our heads.
“What did I do to deserve this?” she asks Braxton in a well, kind of bad southern accent.
He replied to her, “Are you country now?”
And honestly, that’s part of what we love about these two. They have fun. They laugh. They enjoy the moments
Alix asks what she did to deserve the cash, and the exchange some flirty barbs back and forth. The two are very cute.
If you don’t know, Alix is dating Braxton Berrios of the Miami Dolphins. See the TikTok video below –
