You can agree or disagree with us, but La Brea has been one of the most under rated shows on television. It’s story telling, actors, and setting have captivated those of us that have watched.
So sitting down along with NTG, the two outlets spoke to creator David Applebaum. The man has led the show, the actors, created valuable stories, and made a show that in our opinion, is ending far too soon.
But here we are.
With the first episodes of the last season under the belt, one has to marvel in the story telling and the genius of every nuance. Applebaum was able to end the show on his terms, after four years of it being a labor of love for him.
He’s taken a lot from the show – his learning how to run the show, as well as the friendships he’s made. See the interview below where he talks about the show, the epicness of it, the nuances and the easter eggs, as well as ending it.
La Brea stars Natalie Zea, Eoin Macken, Jon Seda, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chiké Okonkwo, Zyra Gorecki, Jack Martin, Veronica St. Clair, Rohan Mirchandaney, Lily Santiago, Josh McKenzie, Tonantzin Carmelo and Michelle Vergara Moore star in the show.
The last season of La Brea is airing now on NBC.
