NCIS: Hawai’i 3×01 “Run and Gun” tries to deal with the consequences of the Season 2 finale, particularly for Jane Tennant. One of those consequences comes in the form of Sam Hanna, though no one would dare to call Sam a bad consequence. Hey, I watched NCIS: Los Angeles for over a decade, so in my book, Sam is nothing but a great consequence, and one I’m really glad to still have on my TV screen.
Maybe he can give us periodic updates on the team. Maybe we can one day find Hetty? See Densi’s baby? One can hope!
But I digress, back to NCIS: Hawai’i, and this is a two-parter, which we hate, but Tennant is back to work, which we love (see, Chicago P.D., it can be done). And though the pictures and the sneak peek focus on Sam and Tennant, we’re really looking forward to having all the team back. Well, and more Kacy. Yes, always more Kacy. Please give us Kacy.

After passing her medical and psych evaluations, Tennant is surprised to see Sam Hanna conducting her final interview to clear her return to work. Also, when the team discovers a breach in the U.S. Marshal’s database, Sam joins Tennant in Las Vegas to locate the hacker, on part one of the season three premiere of the CBS Original series NCIS: HAWAI’I, Monday, Feb. 12 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).
