The cast of Ryan Murphy’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story continues to grow, and so far, we have loved each one. It was announced that Ari Graynor has joined the cast and will play a pivotal role.
Graynor was cast to play Leslie Abramson, one of the most prominent Los Angeles defense attorneys during the 80s and 90s. She was appointed as lead counsel to represent Erik Menendez. We love Graynor. She’s a very talented actress and is incredibly versatile. You may recognize her from the comedies Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, For a Good Time Call, and more recently Winning Time: The Rise of The Lakers Dynasty. We know she will be excellent in this role and we are looking forward to it.
Graynor joins previously cast Nicholas Chavez and Cooper Koch, who play Lyle and Erik Menedez, respectively, Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny, who play the Menendez brother’s parents Jose and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez, and Nathan Lane, who will play writer and investigative journalist Dominick Dunne.
Filming for Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is currently underway, with a release scheduled for sometime this year.
