Rebecca Hall Joins Netflix’s Langdon Series as Katherine Solomon
Netflix’s upcoming Langdon series just found another major piece of the puzzle. Rebecca Hall has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated adaptation set in the world of Dan Brown’s The Secret of Secrets, and we already love who she’s playing.
Hall has been cast as Katherine Solomon, one of the novel’s most important characters and someone longtime Dan Brown readers already know plays a key role in Robert Langdon’s life. With Morgan Spector already confirmed as Langdon, the series is slowly bringing its central duo together—and it’s becoming even harder to wait for this show.
But, who is Katherine Solomon? She’s a brilliant scientist and Robert Langdon’s girlfriend in The Secret of Secrets. In the story, Langdon “races against ancient forces and time to rescue a missing scientist and her groundbreaking manuscript whose discoveries have the power to forever change humanity’s understanding of the mind.”
Also, the series “will blend futuristic science with mystical lore, delivering on the heart-pounding suspense and international intrigue that has made the Langdon stories a global phenomenon.”
The Creative Team Behind Netflix’s Langdon series
Netflix is assembling an impressive team behind the camera as well. Lost and Jack Ryanveteran Carlton Cuse will serve as co-creator, showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Dan Brown is also deeply involved in the project as co-creator and executive producer, ensuring the adaptation remains connected to the world readers have followed for years.
Emma Forman will executive produce on behalf of Genre Arts alongside Zoe Robyn, rounding out the producing team bringing Brown’s newest Langdon story to the screen.
The Secret of Secrets was published by Doubleday on September 9, 2025, becoming the sixth installment in Brown’s internationally bestselling Robert Langdon series. While Netflix has yet to reveal a title or premiere date for the adaptation, each new casting announcement is making us even more excited! Honestly? With Rebecca Hall now joining Morgan Spector, this adventure is looking more exciting by the day.
