Our OBX loving hearts can’t wait for the next season, but like most of you we’re wondering what could possibly happen next. But then again, it’s television and it’s Netflix, so there is always chaos and drama to be had.
We’re popping our popcorn and refilling our Xanax prescriptions in anticipation of what could happen next. We know that watching, our hearts are most likely going to be beating out of our chest. We know that we’re most likely going to want to slap a character or two after watching.
And now there are five faces added to the cast and we’re thinking that some we’ll like and some we won’t.
Pollyanna McIntosh, J. Anthony Crane, Brianna Brown, Rigo Sanchez and Mia Challis have all joined the cast of the show. Though the bare minmum is known about their roles, we’ll tell you what we do know.
Mia Challis will play Ruthie. Ruthie is “a wild child with a toxic streak who develops a close relationship with Topper.” Wild child and toxic sounds like the perfect match for Topper, so like if he’s moving on and going to have a new relationship – you do you Topper. We all have fallen under the exact opposite of the person we fell in love with and worshipped.
Brianna Brown will play the biggest realtor on the island (we all know that anyone that is well known is a red flag) who previously worked with Sarah’s Daddy, Ward Cameron (another big red flag) in a successful business deal. She has a new venture and has her eye on Rafe for that, which grosses us out, cause like, no. We don’t keep it in the family.
Rigo Sanchez’s character (ya, we don’t have a name for this character) is “an imposing stranger with a piratical nerve.” No f**king clue what that means, but like if eye patches and “aye matey” are involved, we’re tapping out.
Pollyanna McIntosh will Dalia and due to high school trauma we’re just going to say that we’re already afraid cause the name Dalia brings up stuff. Anyhow this Dalia is, “a revolutionary-like leader and worldly baddie on a plunder who comes face to face with the Pogues.” For f***s sake, the Pogues need to run away from anyone they meet. They attract the worst of the worst.
J. Anthony Crane will play Chandler Groff, not be confused with Chandler Bing (shush, like I have no life and I need to find a way to entertain myself. And hey, if you don’t know who Chandler Bing is, stop it). He will play, “a man darkly grief-stricken over the loss of his wife, who is welcoming to the Pogues on their latest adventure.” As soon as you say, “grief-stricken,” I think crap, they are going to loose their mind and be Rafe type cray cray.
All of these actors join Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss and Rudy Pankow who are the shows leads.
We’re excited for whenever the show returns. Bring the drama and hopefully Rafe completely off his rocker.
