Sometimes, celebrities surprise us. Yes, they surprise us and that shocks us. We pretty much can count on them not doing anything that will stop us and make us think twice about what type of a person that they are.
But then one does something that makes us reevaluate them for a hot second. We can’t get past keeping the scarf and if you don’t know what that is, we’re not sure what to tell you.
Then here we are and we’re discussing a remake of Road House (a movie for now, we’ll stand by the fact that it shouldn’t be made) and the scarf thief has paid homage to the late Patrick Swayze.
It is because he has done that, that we will start to use his name – Jake Gyllenhaal. Well at least for this, because he did something right. It’s rare that we’re able to say that about Jake. We hold a Swiftie grudge.
The actor, who is starring in the remake/reboot/revival (whatever you want to call it), has paid homage to Patrick Swayze, who starred in the original.
“I’ve been thinking back about my time working with Patrick on Donnie Darko, and rewatching this great man in the original Road House plus so many other films,” Gyllenhaal started in his tribute on Instagram. “I’ve never stopped being a fan.”
He continued, “He was such a talent and I continue to have so much respect and admiration for what he put out and into the world. I’ll never forget his kindness to me when I was starting out— he didn’t have to take the time, but he always did. We’ve made a different RH this time around, but hoping it’s one he would’ve had fun watching!”
