Quite frankly, as much as we love Harlan Coben’s stuff, he scares the crap out of us. He’s a great writer, don’t get us wrong, but it’s because he’s a great writer that we never know what is happening and also wonder how he thinks of some of the things that we writes about. This imagination is not normal.
Another one of his books is turning into a television show. Missing You is currently filming in the UK and yesterday, its lead was announced. Slow Horses star Rosalind Eleazar has been set to lead Netflix‘s Harlan Coben adaptation.
The story follows, “detective Kat Donovan who stumbles across her estranged fiancé on a dating app, forcing her to delve back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder.”
Though we’d like to say that we won’t watch this madness, you know that we will. But there is also a reason that Harlan Cobens company is called Final Twist Productions, because there is always a twist in what he writes.
Coben will serve as an executive producer on the show. Now you know that we love it when a writer is involved with their work coming to life. They have to be involved more often in our opinion, because like, we’ve seen too many things go wrong when they aren’t.
What do you think? Have you read any of Cobens books? Do they scare you too?
