Interviews are a weird thing. Sometimes you’re going to have a long time with a celebrity, sometimes you won’t. Sometimes 3-5 minutes is all you need, because you know that no matter what you say, you’re going to be in the presence of greatness.
And no matter what they say, it will be enough.
Julia Lester and Terry Hu are two such people. The actors are amazing in the Hulu release, Prom Dates, starring as Hannah and Angie in the movie. If you haven’t seen the movie, you need to. It will have you laughing from the beginning to the end.
Prom Dates is about, “Jess and Hannah, at 13 years old made a pact to have the perfect prom, only 24 hours before the big event, everything is ruined when they break up with their dates. Now they have one night to find new dates and make the fantasy comes true.”
The two talked about why they became involved in the film, echoing that, “the script was so brilliantly written and so funny” and “It just brought me back to all of my favorite movies that I loved to watch with my friends growing up and in high school and now.”
