We see you The Hunting Party and we get it. You want to be everyones new favorite show and let us tell you, you have our attention. You keep adding people to the cast and our jaws are on the floor thinking of all of the possibilities.
Nick Weschler and Kyra Leroux have been added to the already amazing cast. Previously announced Melissa Roxburgh, Patrick Sabongui, Sara Garcia and Josh McKenzie.
Weschler will be a series regular on the show, playing Oliver Odell. He is Bex’s ex-partner. Charming, brilliant, and well reckless and stupid sometimes. He is the love of Bex’s life, but their relationship ended in disgrace, but Odell is somewhat reckless with his career in the bureau.
Leroux joins the cast in a recurring role. She is Bex’s 18 year old daughter, and is away at college. She’s survived trauma, is resiliant, and yet is struggling being away from her Mom.
The Hunting Party, is an upcoming crime procedural from NBC. The show is described as, “a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.”
The show comes from the mind of JJ Bailey, who also wrote the pilot of The Hunting Party. He’ll serves as an executive producer and co-show runner. Serving the same way (EP and co-showrunner) will be Jake Coburn.
We’ll be standing by to see what this show is like. It definitely has piqued our interest.
