Have you caught your breath yet from last week’s creepily-seductive installment? The week of July 8 brings us to the penultimate episode of The Acolyte‘s season. What really happened on Brendok? Thursday, July 11: Evil Episode 8

The fourth season of Evil is hurtling towards the end. The week of July 8 is the last before the (originally-planned) season finale, but fear not! Thursday, July 11: The Boys Episode 7

Season 4 has been the most overtly political (and terrifying) yet. With Homelander strengthening his grip on power — in the most horrific of ways — it’s a chilling moment with echoes that hit a little too close to the real world. The Boys has one more episode this season, then a fifth and final season to see where this pointed comic-book satire winds up.

Friday, July 12: Descendants: Rise of Red

The latest entry in Disney’s villain-kid movie franchise follows a classic formula. Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, and Chloe, daughter of Cinderella and Prince Charming, must team up on a time-travel adventure to stop villainy before it starts. Let’s be honest, though: Millennials will tune in to see Brandy and Paolo Montalban‘s Cinderella and King Christopher “Charming” again after all these years!

Sunday, July 14: House of the Dragon Episode 5

Another week, another shocking (and increasingly devastating) adventure in Westeros. After last week’s action-packed episode, the stakes are piling up, and no one is safe. War is brutal, and it’s only going to get more so. We’re well past the point of reconciliation — so what now?
