Now we have to admit that we’ve had quite admit that we’ve talked a lot of smack about the remake/reboot of Twisters. The original is suck a classic movie and it’s one that we don’t ever think should be screwed with.
Somethings don’t need to be remade, but ever since Glen Powell said that it isn’t a sequel or a reboot, we’ve had more faith in it with all of the things that have come out to show us what the movie will be about.
And the latest featurette has us meeting all of the “Tornado Wranglers” of the movie.
The premise of this Twisters movie is, “Daisy Edgar-Jones stars as Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years who now studies storm patterns on screens safely in New York City. She is lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi (Anthony Ramos) to test a groundbreaking new tracking system.There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), the charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew, the more dangerous the better.”
This iteration stars Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos, Maura Tierney, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka, and David Corenswet.
