Look, somethings should not be added to or sequels made. I do believe that Twister is one of those things that should not be remade. I do believe that Twister doesn’t need a sequel. But here we are and Hollywood seems to want to recycle all of the ideas.
I wonder if Hollywood realizes that they have tons of writers with new ideas out there. Yes, they are on strike right now and this website supports that. It would be amazing if the writers were paid fair and their ideas were taken seriously.
Just putting that out there.
But now that my bitch session is over, I will say that I will watch Twister, because hey, I can appreciate the fact that it has two leads that I love – Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones. Look, I may not agree with the remake, reboot or whatever it is. But I do love them.
If you wanna see me look at the sky again, watch “Twisters” in theaters July 19, 2024 🌪️🫡 #TGBTG 🙏🏽🙌🏽 https://t.co/RTdwsAfY9k

And now the addition to the cast – Brandon Perea – okay you’ve got me. Yes, I have chosen to overlook that Anthony Ramos is in the cast, because of the whole cheating scandal. Yes, I am going there.
I am also totally aware that if Glen Powell cheated on his girlfriend (now ex) than I am gonna have to overlook his ass too. I am awaiting confirmation of that.
But back to the important things. Brandon Perea has been added to the cast and hey, he’s good. We liked him in Nope.
Lee Isaac Chung is on board to direct from a script by Mark L. Smith.
Side note, we have to say with all the twisters that have been happening and the destruction that they have, we have to admit that we are hesitant about this. We’ve had a bad weather year and it’s been hard and continues to be hard.Totally get that the original Twister, back in 1996 was a big hit. Not hating on it. Loved the movie. Even like Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. We know that this one is going to be one too, because the cast is fantastic. Yes, every single one of them (even the ones I am bitter over because of their actions in their private lives).
Are you looking forward to Twister?
