Tuesday, August 6: Hard Knocks: Training Season with the Chicago Bears
The Hard Knocks franchise continues with Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears. The five-part reality series from HBO, NFL Films, and the Chicago Bears debuts on Tuesday, August 6, at 9/8c on HBO and will stream on Max. New episodes will air through September 3, following Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants. The series will be narrated by Liev Schreiber, marking his 18th season with the show.
Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears will be the first time this team is featured in the franchise that began in 2001. The all-access coverage will go to the training camp in Lake Forest, Illinois, where general manager Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus will be at the helm of the Chicago Bears.
“The 2024 training camp will be big for us in preparation for achieving our season goals and we look forward to bringing the fans at home along for the journey,” General Manager Ryan Poles said when HBO announced the series in May. “Our players, coaches, and staff are excited to continue the process of building for the 2024 season,” Head Coach Matt Eberflus added.
Poles and Eberflus will guide 2024’s first overall draft pick, quarterback Caleb Williams, 2024’s ninth overall pick, wide receiver Rome Odunze, and an array of veteran players, including DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Jaylon Johnson, and Montez Sweat.

Wednesday, August 7: Dance Moms: A New Era
A reboot of the original Lifetime reality series means a new coach, new dancers, new moms, and a new era for Dance Moms. The series follows dance coach Glo Hampton, who appeared in various episodes of the original series, and the students at her prestigious dance school, Studio Bleu, as they compete nationally every week. Dance Moms: A New Era premieres its debut season on Wednesday, August 7, on Hulu.
In this series, “Coach Glo must juggle her tiny but mighty dancers, their scheming moms, and ensuing meltdowns, all while ruling with a tender but tough iron first,” per Hulu’s synopsis. So, who’s on Studio Bleu’s competition team? Dance Moms: A New Era stars Hampton, Kim Rishi, Roxce, Bellatrix (11), Tammi, Audrey (13), Lisa, Ashlan (11), Min, Mina (8), Leslie, Leilah (11), Corinne, Lily (11), Domenica, Isabella “Smiley” (10), Jing, and Gina (11).
The A+E Factual Studios group produces the series for Hulu and Lifetime. Dance Moms: A New Era comes from the original series executive producer Bryan Stinson, with Sharon Scott, Steve Ascher, Kristy Sabat, Allie Breslin, and Natalie Feldman, who executive produce for A+E Factual Studios. Kimberly Chessler and Brie Miranda Bryant executive produce the show from Lifetime.

Sunday, August 11: Olympics Closing Ceremony
It’s hard to believe that the Olympics will be over so soon, but the Paris Olympics promise to end with “audacity, fraternity, and emotion” in the Stade de France. After all the medals are awarded, athletes from all around the world will come together for one final celebration. Tickets are still available for this special ceremony.
Friday, August 20: Inside the NFL
Eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach Bill Belichick will join Inside the NFL as an analyst when it returns for its sophomore season on The CW. Belichick joins host Ryan Clark and former superstar players Chad Johnson and Chris Long. Inside the NFL Season 2, an NFL Films production, premieres on Friday, August 30, at 9/8c.
According to The CW, they form “a powerhouse panel combination of talent and experience as they dive deep into the most important stories and trends of the NFL season every week through the Super Bowl.”
Despite only being the second on The CW, the upcoming season will be the 48th of Inside the NFL’s 48th. The show “sets the stage for the games ahead by combining expert analysis with pivotal game action captured by NFL Films’ legendary cinematographers and exclusive all-access “mic’d up” audio.” Inside the NFL is executive produced by Ross Ketover, Keith Cossrow, Ken Rodgers, and Jessica Boddy.
Inside the NFL will air on The CW.
