Disney Releases First Look At ‘Win Or Lose’ At D23 Expo

Look Disney, you didn’t have to go so hard this weekend at D23 Expo, but we have to admit that we’re not mad that you did. You want to give us all the greatness, we’re so excited to take it all. Granted, our backsides may not be thrilled at all the sitting that we’re going to be doing as we take it all in, but here we are. Win or Lose we’ll survive.

We have a walking pad after all. We’ll survive.

WIN OR LOSE features the voice of Will Forte as Coach Dan. Pixar’s first-ever original long-form animated series follows a co-ed middle school softball team in the week leading up to their championship game. Each episode highlights the perspective of a different character—like Coach Dan—and explores the drama of bad calls being made on and off the field. A story about love, rivalry and the challenges we all face in our struggle to win at life, “Win or Lose” streams on Disney+ in Fall 2023.

We know that Disney is going to make us feel all of the feels and they’re making sure that we don’t forget it. The studio gave the first look at its new animated series, Win or Lose, on Friday, August 9th.

The new eight-episode series “follows the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game. The series reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of each character—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—with incredibly funny, very emotional and uniquely animated perspectives.”

We love these kind of stories, but we need more. The new series will released on Disney+ on December 6, 2024.
