Respectfully Glen Powell fandom, we agree with Glen Powell here. While you would think that wouldn’t be something that scares us, it 100% does because of what we’re agreeing with him on. We really don’t think it’s a big deal that the kiss between him and Daisy Edgar-Jones wasn’t in the final cut of Twisters.

Look, we’ve all seen the behind the scenes video of the kiss that didn’t make the movie. We know that so much of the fandom is angry because the kiss isn’t in the movie, but Powell, he’s “delighted” by all the online talk. However, he’s okay with the kiss not being in the film.
“I’m taking it very personally,” Glen joked when speaking with Screen Rant.
He continued, telling the outlet, “I’m sure you’ve seen the behind-the-scenes, where I did get to kiss Daisy Edgar-Jones, which really is all that counts. We had a great time, and I’m really proud of the movie.”

“I really think that even that [backlash] shows that people care, which is really great,” he added. “I just love how excited people have gotten about that movie, and Daisy and I send each other the TikToks and the gifs. There’s so much funny stuff coming out of it. It’s fun.”
It has been fun. It’s always fun to see all of the things that people have to say about any film. All of the conversation shows how excited fans are for the film and to be honest, that means that the movie is doing it’s job. It’s creating conversation.
We know that a lot of studios judge a movie in part on the conversation that it creates. Twisters is definitely doing just that.
Twisters is available for rent or purchase now wherever you get your digital movies. Have you seen the movie? Are you upset over the kiss? Tell us all the things.
