We’re getting to the end of this season of The Bachelorette (please, let it endddd) and The Bachelorette 21×07 takes Jenn home with four different men to tell all four that she is definitely falling in love with them only to then have to make the “most difficult decision of her life” and send one of them home. I kid, but I also don’t because this is basically what this week is about every season of the show, so like …yeaaaah.
The only hilarious part about this episode is that Jeremy is obviously the odd man out because I promise you, his hometown date was the most boring one of all, I could feel Jenn was going to cut him in my soul just from the fact that I was severely tempted to forward through it. But he shouldn’t have been the odd man out, because Marcus isn’t even sure he wants to be here or that he’s ready to be here! And that is both kinda silly if you consider this is The Bachelorette, and also kinda valid if you consider this is marriage.

Reality shows are a dime a dozen these days, and I’ve watched my fair share, but like if you go into them believing in the almighty process or whatever, then you have to be sure, don’t you? And if you somehow get to where Marcus is and you aren’t, then how can you get down on one knee and propose? You can’t. I think the best thing you could do, for yourself and for the other person would be to say, hey, I’m just not there. And I’m not sure if it’s the timing or just that I can’t get there. But I’m genuinely not there. Period.
Now, this show keeps giving me drama-filled previews, but I do honestly believe Jenn is going to walk out of this with Devin because if there’s one guy who is 200% sure, it’s Devin. My man put all his cards on the table in this episode, and I think Jenn doesn’t just genuinely like Devin, she genuinely likes that. She’s seeing that he’s willing to risk his heart and considering she was a contestant on this show before, she knows how hard that is. So I think there’s a level of respect on Jenn’s part for what Devin is risking when no one else is willing to take that leap for her.

If we’re being honest, the top 2 should be Jonathon and Devin, but I have a feeling it’s going to be Devin and Marcus, which makes the decision so much easier. Either way, I almost wish we got to see the decision next week, but instead we get the Men Tell All episode, and that’s almost as good because boy, do we need the men to tell all.
We’re almost at the end, and if there is one final thing to say before Fantasy Suites is that I hope Jenn finds what she is looking for …I hope she found what she was looking for. I hope she didn’t settle. She seems to genuinely want this process to work and to genuinely believe it can. I’ve never been that sure, but hey, there are exceptions to everything. May she be one of those.
The Final Three: Devin, Jonathon, Marcus.
