Sometimes you want to see a movie based on the title alone and that would be the case here. Spa Weekend? Desperately need one of those.
Spa Weekend is a “hot ticket” and is led by four women who will make it amazing. How do we know this? Because the four leads are hilarious. Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau, and Anna Faris are four very talented women.
We also love the premise, “Jane, Coco, and Sophie, as they embark on some much-needed pampering during a luxury spa break in Palm Springs. But when their trainwreck friend, Mel, turns up, the relaxation quickly descends into chaos with hilarious consequences.”
Oh, trainwreck friends. We’ve all been there. Sometimes they’re fun. Sometimes they’re a cautionary tale.
If you don’t think that the movie will be great, know that it’s being written by and will be directed by writer-directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. They are the two behind Bad Moms.
