The television universe of The Big Bang Theory and its spin-off Young Sheldon continues to expand with the new series Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage! TVLine surprised us by releasing the trailer for the show and we love it! Time to analyze it. Ready?
Here we go!
The show follows Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) as they raise their young family in Texas while navigating the challenges of adulthood, parenting and marriage.
The trailer shows us the first steps of Georgie and Mandy and, of course, their relationship is going great guns. There’s just one problem: they live with Mandy’s parents! That already brings a lot of problems such as the lack of privacy or the risk of being seen in, let’s say… compromising situations.
However, the fact that Mandy’s mother, Audrey, doesn’t hesitate to show that she can’t stand Georgie and that she doesn’t consider him the best for her daughter makes even more problems arise… and funny situations too! Add a baby to the mix and it’s an explosive combination!
Plus, the series is set in the 90s, so we can expect a nostalgic journey down memory lane as we recall the charm of the era or pop culture references that only we’ll understand.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will premiere on October 17 on CBS.
