It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you… wait, what do you mean it’s not Christmas yet? Okay, I know it’s only September, so we’re still about a month or two months (depending on when you start turning your home into a winter wonderland) from all the caroling and cocoa you can have. That doesn’t mean we can’t start getting those Christmas trees. If you’re like me and love Christmas trees but not the mess they leave behind, then a good old artificial tree is a dream come true. And I have to say, King of Christmas lives up to its name.
Because I live in an apartment, having a giant Christmas tree isn’t ideal. Plus, who wants to have to drag a real tree up a flight of stairs and run the risk of needles falling off as you carry it up? Not me. That’s why artificial is my go-to and has been for about nine years. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I miss having a natural Christmas tree, and sometimes, when you buy an artificial tree, the display looks a lot better than what you bring home. Trust me, I have had my fair share of bad artificial trees. After having my artificial Christmas tree from Target for a couple of years, I noticed it was beginning to look thin. I didn’t realize that needles can also fall off an artificial tree but here we are.
As I looked at my poor Christmas tree in December 2023, I realized it was going to be time to get a new one. It seems someone was listening because King of Christmas came through. Before this year, I hadn’t heard of them, but I am glad I know who they are now because I am obsessed with my King of Christmas Artificial Tree.
When I initially went onto the website to pick out my Christmas tree, I felt slightly overwhelmed. That’s only because there are so many nice ones to choose from. They come in all different shapes and sizes. And you can get flocked ones as well. But not just any average flocked tree, colorful ones like pink or blue. Flocked trees have never been my thing, but to those who love them, King of Christmas has you covered. After perusing the site, with my sister and mom’s help, I settled on the 6.5’ King Fraser Fir Artificial Christmas Tree with 750 Warm LED Lights.
When my Christmas tree arrived, it was in a fairly large box. I have to say I was impressed that the delivery person hauled it all the way upstairs. Once I opened the box, I could see that the tree was well taken care of in the packaging process. The tree came in three separate sections that were wrapped in their own special covering, and the tips of the poles came with rubber caps on each piece so as not to poke through. Some specific items caught my attention as I continued to remove the items from the box. Had I read the King of Christmas website a bit more thoroughly, I would have known these items were coming, but it was a nice surprise. Those three items were shaping gloves and a bag to hold the Christmas tree for storage, but that’s not even the best part.

The absolute best thing about King of Christmas Artificial trees is that they come with a remote control so that you can control the lights without having to get up constantly. All you have to do is point the remote directly at the foot pedal that plugs into an outlet. I’m sure we all know what a headache it can be to keep plugging and unplugging your tree. Especially if you have to reach behind the tree and the space isn’t big. Once you have that setup done, there are eight different light settings. My personal favorites were number one and four. You can also dim or increase the lights as well.

Setting up the tree was as simple as described in the instructions. The pictures and guides are easy to follow and take no time. Something to note: I wouldn’t recommend putting the whole tree together to pick it up and carry it to where you want it. I tried that, but it didn’t work. It’s pretty heavy. I took it apart to assemble it once I knew where I wanted it. After that, I was good to go and had to shape my leaves. As the instruction manual says, shaping your Christmas tree for the first time can take some time because it’s been packed in so tightly, and you want to ensure that you fill in any gaps as you set it up.
Once my 6.5’ King Fraser Fir Artificial Christmas Tree with 750 Warm White LED Lights was set up, I felt Christmas vibes. I even contemplated leaving it up for the rest of the year. Of course, I ultimately packed it up inside my storage bag, which I also love because figuring out how and where to store an artificial Christmas tree after using it is a challenge. Many artificial tree companies should note this because it is such a convenient item to have. While it can be a bit pricey, King of Christmas trees are worth it. Their trees are very full, and the leaves are sturdy but not too stiff, so you can’t tell the tree is artificial. That’s another thing I loved because the tree didn’t look artificial.
So, if you’re in the market for a new artificial Christmas tree this year, I highly recommend grabbing one from King of Christmas. It checks all the boxes and will add a touch of magic to your Christmas holiday.
