We all know there’s a quote on quote ‘dark side of reality TV’ but it’s still kind of scary to hear there’s enough of a dark side to merit an entire show called Dark Side of Reality TV. And yet, you know how sometimes you just press play on something and you cannot stop watching? For some, it’s true crime. For us, it’s stuff like this. Because we have watched so much reality TV! So finding out stuff like this is wild. And it only makes us think about the stuff we don’t know.
Vice TV’s Dark Side of Reality TV will premiere its third episode on September 24th, and we’ve got an exclusive clip from the hour, focused on the show Joe Millionaire. And just in case you don’t know the mess, the synopsis is below:
It’s one of TV’s biggest twists: 20 women are deceived into believing their would-be suitor is worth millions and made to look like gold diggers in front of 70 million viewers.
