One week ABC gives us so many stills for 9-1-1 that it’s almost like we know everything that’s coming in the episode (we didn’t, but still!), the next week for 9-1-1 Season 8, Episode 2 we get basically only stuff we already know, and a synopsis that tells us things that already happened! Just to keep us on the edge of our seats, as if we weren’t already.
The only fun thing about these pictures — other than Athena looking like even in a desperate situation, she’s got things under control somehow, is that we actually already know this air traffic control crew! If you look closely, these are the same people from 9-1-1 Season 5, Episode 1 ‘Panic’! It’s a nice callback, and we’re not panicking about it. Nah, we’re good.
Because, okay, this is only the middle episode of a three-part event. The plane is already about to crash. What else is happening in this hour? What is coming next episode? What is this show trying to keep from us? We shall find out together on Thursday night.
