After nearly a month, Matlock is back with a new episode! Matlock Season 1, Episode 2, “Rome, in a Day,” picks up with Matty settling into her new role at Jacobson Moore. With that responsibility comes a new case – a lawsuit about a wrongly accused teenager. Olympia works with “Team You Three” – Matty, Billy, and Sarah – to uncover the truth about the case. One of the best details from the photos suggests that the trio’s desks are directly in front of each other. That positioning is sure to make their working dynamic and collaborative possibilities interesting.
Meanwhile, though the photos don’t tease much, it’s also likely that “Rome, in a Day” will see Matty’s independent investigation continue. After the twist on Matlock Season 1, Episode 1, “Pilot,” Matty must uncover who at Jacobson Moore played a role in her daughter’s death. That likely long quest for truth will hopefully lead to justice, but only time will tell how much evidence Matty acquires during “Rome, in a Day.”
Elsewhere, Olympia and Julian will disagree on a parenting matter in the episode written by Jennie Snyder Urman and directed by Kat Coiro. The photos tease that Matty may not be the only person standing between the recently separated couple. Perhaps Senior can help Olympia and Julian find some common ground.
