9-1-1 Season 8, Episode 5 ‘Masks’ is a Halloween episode, and considering this is 9-1-1 that probably means it’s going to lean more into the ridiculous than the scary. All while trying to pretend it’s scary. Basically, 9-1-1 at its finest. There’s nothing we love more than when this show is a little silly, a little serious, and a lot emotional and it feels like this hour might deliver in all respects.
But silly needs to be the number one. If we want actually scary, we’ll go watch FROM or something!
This hour also sees the return of Buck’s love interest, Tommy as Buck faces …some issues? We’re not sure what they are only that Tommy looks concerned and Buck, well, he seems to be pulling a Buck, aka going about his business when he should probably stop and listen. But it’s okay, there are a lot of people in the 118 who have his back.
