NCIS Season 22, Episode 3 ‘The Trouble with Hal’ seems like another solid case-of-the-week episode. For some shows, episodes like this are a drawback. For NCIS, it’s just a way to cement the dynamics—a very welcome one considering, in-show, it’s been six months since this team has truly worked together.
For us, though, the beginning of the season has been as seamless as ever, and episodes like this one are the bread and butter of procedurals. In fact, with a shortened season last year, we kinda missed getting hours where the team was just doing their thing, solving a case, nothing else too complicated going on. That’s when the dynamics between the members of the team excel, and that’s really what this show has built on so well.
So yeah, we don’t expect anything huge from NCIS Season 22, Episode 3 ‘The Trouble with Hal’, but in a way, that’s a great thing.
