Chicago P.D. Season 12, Episode 6 ‘Pawns’ is a Kim Burgess episode and one that hopefully allows her to grow professionally in the way she deserves. Kim becoming detective has truly been a long time coming, so the fact that she’s finally getting that opportunity is something to celebrate.
But just in general, a Kim episode is a great opportunity to go deeper into a character that hasn’t had the spotlight on her in a while. And sure, she seems to be doing better and she and Adam are now engaged and looking solid, but this is one of those things we don’t just want to know is true, we want to see.
Show us Makayla! Show us domestic Burzek! And, please, show us Kim being as great at her job as we know she is. That’s all we ask.
