Jonathan Bailey isn’t the only Bridgerton actor making an appearance in the upcoming Wicked movie. A TikTok from the official Wicked account revealed Fiyero’s horse is Jack, the same horse the British actor works with as Anthony Bridgerton.
Animals may be harder to distinguish and recognize than people, but Bailey says he knew it was Jack right away and that he has an “amazing relationship” with the animal.
”People say don’t work with kids and animals, but if it’s Jack, I’d say take the job,” Bailey said. “He’s a legend.”
We’d have to agree. After all, Bailey is known for having excellent chemistry with his costars and simply looking at them so lovingly. That TikTok proves it’s not limited to his human costars. It’s no surprise the actor who plays the Winkie Prince and Viscount Bridgerton is as charming and magnetizing as the characters he portrays.
Jack’s most notable Bridgerton scenes come in season two, which is Anthony’s season. Jack and his fellow Bridgerton horses are in some pretty important scenes, like when Kate and Anthony meet and race in the woods and when Anthony rescues Kate after she falls off her horse in the rain.

The role of Fiyero’s horse in Wicked is unclear so far. Is he a trusty companion to the royal Ozian, or is he simply transportation? Animals have played an important role in Ozian history, but does that include horses?
We’ve mostly seen Fiyero with his horse in promotional photos, like in his character poster, and in a few clips from trailers and TV spots. From those few snippets, it looks like Fiyero arrives to Shiz University by horse, which is a departure from the stage musical. Multiple teasers have also included a clip of someone riding a horse towards the Emerald City seemingly in a hurry. Is that Jonathan Bailey’s Fiyero with Jack? We’ll have to wait and see.
In the midst of Wicked press, we know Bailey was booked and busy last year, filming the Wicked movie, Fellow Travelers and Bridgerton at the same time. Who knew his horse would be, too?
