The mid-season finale of Doctor Odyssey is this week, and since its premiere, many interesting things have occurred. Every single week on board the Odyssey is unique, but none may be as unique as what we’re in for with Doctor Odyssey Season 1, Episode 8, ‘Quackers.’ It’s “Quakers Week” on the ship, and apparently, it’s something that has to do with rubber duckies. Yeah, we had never heard of this either. Where does Ryan Murphy find this stuff? Other than what appears to be some little yellow rubber duckies on the pool deck, the preview doesn’t even give us a glimpse of what “Quakers Week” entails, so we’ll have to wait and see. What we did get is what looks like yet another drama-filled episode.
Naturally, we are excited to see what kind of medical emergencies Max, Avery, and Tristan will be tasked with handling, but we’re more curious about their personal lives and the matter of Avery’s pregnancy. So, based on this, it’s been a couple of weeks since the infamous bucket list three-way took place between her, Max, and Tristan. Which begs the question, who is the father? And what will happen when the guys find out? Because it’s clear they both have feelings for her, and Max has made it more than obvious, he wants to be a father. From the looks of the preview photos, it appears that she’ll also have some friends on board, played by guest stars Adrienne Warren and Paloma Garcia-Lee. That’s great because she will need all the support she can get.
Despite this drama, it also looks like everyone will get a chance to have some fun in the sun. We are happy that Chef Vivian is back and hanging out with Tristan. Does that mean that those two are happening again? We hope so because they had some immediate chemistry when they met in Doctor Odyssey Season 1, Episode 4, “Wellness Week.” We are slightly anxious about how Avery’s pregnancy will impact them. We know they’re not a couple or anything, but Avery being pregnant and not knowing who the father is will surely change Tristan’s mood and feelings.
