NCIS Season 22, Episode 7 ‘Hardboiled’ is a Torres episode, and another one of those hours that seems to be more about the team dynamics than about advancing the overarching plot of the season in any way shape or form. And we love the team dynamics, we’re always rooting for the team dynamics, but at this point we really need the show to start giving us a little something more. There are so many loose threads they have to start pulling on, after all! We need some sort of payoff, somewhere.
Would it be so bad to ask for at least some answers before the show goes on its midseason break? We don’t have that many episodes left for that!
And sure, we are glad that 22 seasons on NCIS can still deliver entertaining episodes that showcase how well these characters get along. And this will surely be a really good episode about Torres, who we know and love at this point. We might even learn something new about him, something that makes us love him even more. But, unless that something ties to whether the new Deputy Director is truly a mole, or any of the other questions we still need answered, we’re going to need the show to do more.
