When it comes to John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, there is one thing that we all know for sure – they are amazing parents. Seeing the love that they have for their kids and the way that they put them first – it’s inspiring. You don’t see it in a lot of stars.
But you definitely see it in them.
Billboard has been doing a series where celebrity kids interview their parents and John Legend was interviewed by his oldest daughter, Luna. Luna talked to her Dad about his new children’s album, My Favorite Dream.
It is the cutest interview ever. Luna is the oldest of John and Chrissy’s children. Luna’s siblings include Miles Theodore, 6, Esti Maxine, 22 months, and Wren Alexander, 17 months.
In back and forth conversation at the beginning, Luna shot her shot for a phone.
Legend started the conversation by saying, “Lately we’ve been getting some good advice on phones and social media, And how dangerous they are and how we’re not going to let you have a smartphone til’ you’re like 16 years old. What do you think of that advice?”
“How about we…” Luna started to say before Legend chimed in with, “Compromise?”
“How about we compromise on 9?” Luna responded. Have to admit we burst out laughing, just like Legend did. Have to respect the hustle.
In the interview Luna also spoke to her Dad about his children’s album and why he chose to make one.
He said, “I wanted to make a children’s album because now that I have four kids, and I’ve watched all of you guys react to music and fall in love with music in different ways, I felt like I was inspired to write an album for my kids and then for all the other kids that are out there and their parents, too.”
Love that. Love the interview and the pure love that you see that Luna and her Dad show.
