We are sure that we aren’t the only ones that are distraught over what is happening in Los Angeles. The historic fires have us glued to the television and our computers, as we have friends that have lost everything. We’re thankful for everyone working to help put out the fires and the community that is taking care of each other.
We’re thankful to the celebrities that are talking about the fires, being there for the people in the fires, and helping others. The way that the Los Angeles community has come together is inspiring.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live outside the Los Angeles area – about 90 miles north. The two traveled to visit with evacuees and helped distribute the food that the World Central Kitchen was making for evacuees. Yes, their Archwell Foundation does have a relationship with the WCH, but in our opinion they were out there, because these two genuinely care and want to make a difference.

The two were out talking to people and offering comfort. People need someone to listen to them.
Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo said that the two were, “great people, great personalities and great heart for them to come out here and meet with the first responders, meet with the people who were affected. It’s very important.”
He also said, “They want to be as helpful as they can be. We visited with some of the affected families in some of the burned-out areas in Pasadena and Altadena. They took the time to meet the people that are affected and spent time. They’re just very caring people who are concerned for their friends and neighbors.”
Earlier in the week, on their website the two had made a statement on their website, “In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers, and so much more – affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life.”
The statement continued with ways that you could help those affected by the fires.
