NCIS: Origins Season 1, Episode 13 ‘Monsoon’ seems to be even more Franks backstory, and not one person is complaining about that. This particular backstory, however, is about Vietnam, and though it ties to the family background we got about Franks a couple of episodes ago, it also feels like an in for Gibbs with Franks, which makes it interesting.
As much as we love these characters, and we love how well the show has developed all of them, we’re at a point where what’s really interesting is how these things we now know will help develop the relationships. So, Franks and Gibbs? Yes, please. Because we’re betting Gibbs has his own share of trauma that looks similar to that of Mike Franks. And hey, if we get more of the criminally underused Diany Rodriguez as Vera, then all the better.
