The time has come for Bex to be put in some real danger in The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 4 ‘Doctor Ezekiel Malak’. Not to say that in the past she hasn’t been put in dire situations where we weren’t sure if she was going to get hurt or not. Because she has been in those situations. In The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 1 ‘Richard Harris‘, she would’ve gotten worse injuries than pepper spray to the eyes if Hassani hadn’t shown up when he did. The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 3 “Lowe” ended in Florence stopping the fight between Bex and Lowe.
The thing is, we’ve seen Bex fight off these killers, but she hasn’t necessarily been the one to end the fight. She hasn’t shown us how she gets out or through hard situations by herself. Are we glad she has a team to back her up whenever she needs it? Absolutely. However, we’re looking forward to seeing what happens when she gets kidnapped by Doctor Ezekiel Malak. A psychiatrist turned killer and who the team is trying to find in this episode.
We aren’t sure yet if Bex puts herself at risk to trap Malak into taking her. Or if he kidnaps her in a total blindside. Either way, surviving torture for the sake of putting a killer away is going to be difficult to withstand.
She’s alone with him as he experiments with her mind. He looks sadistic as Bex sits in a chair, helpless and violently woken up from death multiple times. Will the events of The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 4 ‘Doctor Ezekiel Malak’ mess her up for a good while? We think so. As much as we want the team to find her before things get too intense, we hope we get to see Bex and Malak together for most of the episode. We want to see the team get rattled a little.
