If Disney+ had released the teaser trailer for Freakier Friday on any other day than a Friday – well, that wouldn’t have been good. Luckily we opened our email and we quickly pressed play. After all, Freaky Friday is one of our favorites.
We’re loving the poster and teaser for the upcoming film. What did we learn from the teaser? Well it’s that we’ll never get our fortunes read, because like we don’t want to switch bodies with anyone.
Starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, Freakier Friday tells, “the story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.”
We’re going to need to turn on the original movie, which is on Disney+. Who knows what we’ve forgotten. But for now we’ll be watching the trailer on repeat, because that’s who we are. Yes, it’s kinda sad we have the time for that, but look, that’s a different story.
In addition to Lohan and Curtis, Freakier Friday stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, Vanessa Bayer, and Mark Harmon.
