NCIS: Origins Season 1, Episode 14 ‘To Have and to Hold’ turns the focus on Mary Jo, the last of the characters we have spent a lot of time with to really get some backstory. And though yes, we already got an episode with a particular Mary Jo focus, we didn’t really learn all that much about her in that one. We got to know her, yes. But we didn’t learn about her.
This feels like the one that’s going to give us the info, so pretty much the one that’s going to make us cry. NCIS: Origins has done it with absolutely every character. Not just Gibbs. In fact, at this point, the tears we shed over Gibbs feel like normal stuff because those are what we expected. Did anyone see the tears we shed over Franks or the tears we shed over Kowalski coming? That’s where the show has truly shined.
So what we’re saying is we’re not ready, and precisely because of that, we’re really looking forward to this hour.
