If there is one thing that I understand – it’s the want for a good cup of coffee or quite a few shots of espresso. After awhile, it feels like it does less and less, so I need more and more. It’s one of the reasons that I am up to 6-8 shots of espresso a day. This may be part of the reason that Pedro Pascal and his 6 shots did not phase me.
But it did phase a lot of people. Pascal was photographed with a sticker that said he was drinking an iced quad espresso in a venti cup with extra ice and six shots. Fans were concerned.
As one would/could/should be.
But Pedro doesn’t want you to worry. The actor was on Jimmy Kimmel Live and said, “I cannot begin to tell you how violating this was!”
He then continued, “There’s so much context to why it has become six shots of espresso. It was always a quad but then I feel like the cups got bigger and, I don’t know, the shots got less strong. At some point, it became six. It was an incredibly private morning ritual that I never wanted anyone to know about.”
And then added, “You sip it and you get really high, and you answer emails and stuff.”
He obviously was having a great time as he said all of this. We’re just wondering what type of coffee he’s drinking that would want to make him answer emails. We haven’t discovered that yet.
