Fandom is a crazy thing. It’s also a fun thing. Some fandoms I understand and some I don’t. Sometimes I think that fandom gets a little out of hand and sometimes I don’t think that it does enough. That’s how crazy life is and lets be honest – sports fandoms are the most intense.
Seriously, they are intense. I get it though – most people I have met are fans of a sports team since their birth. They were raised to love that team. It becomes a part of them. Rivalries are strong. Love for a team is everything.
Hailee Steinfeld, who is engaged to Buffalo Bills quarterback, Josh Allen, is making the rounds for press for her new movie, Sinners. She’s obviously part of the Bills Mafia (we believe) as her future husband is part of the team. However, back to press. Along with her co-star Michael B. Jordan, she was on Hot Ones Vs. and was asked a question that, well, no one in the Bills Mafia would want to ask.
But hey, it’s stuff I learned from. The fact that The Chiefs and The Bills are rivals? Didn’t know.
Well until on the show, Michael B. Jordan said to her, “Anger the Bills Mafia by saying three nice things about their rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs.“
To which Steinfeld replied, “I can find nice things to say about anybody, even if I don’t like them — even if we don’t like them.”
