With Leverage: Redemption Season 3 coming this week, we had the chance to talk with stars Beth Riesgraf (Parker) and Aleyse Shannon (Breanna) about what’s next for their characters, new team dynamics, and some unexpected conflicts. Ready?
Here we go!
Both actresses shared how their characters will continue to evolve this season. In Parker’s case, growth has been a constant since the original series, and now she’s stepping into new responsibilities that will test her ability to work solo. Meanwhile, Breanna found a place where she fit in on the team for the first time. Now, it’s about exploring that a little deeper.
Riesgraf also touched on Parker’s long-distance relationship with Hardison, which has remained a theme since the reboot began. Is there a breaking point for Parker, or will she continue to accept Hardison’s absences?
As for Breanna, Shannon offered a glimpse at a more personal side of her character. While the young hacker often comes across as confident and a bit rebellious, this season may reveal a more emotional and vulnerable layer.
One of the most intriguing dynamics explored this season is the tense relationship between Parker and Sophie’s daughter, Astrid. Riesgraf talked about this “enemies with a shared mother figure” situation and whether the two might eventually find common ground out of love for Sophie.
We’ll also see Parker take on a case completely on her own this season. Riesgraf reflected on why this challenge is so important for Parker. Shannon, for her part, shares how the rest of the team responds to Parker’s decision to go solo.
