With Pride here, we’re continuing our journey of supporting LGBTQ+ books and the authors within our community. From mermaids to knight’s and vampires in space, we’ve got you covered with a list of LGBTQ+ books coming out June 2025.
A special shoutout goes to Netgalley, the premiere source of getting books in advance if you’re looking to review books. Most of the summaries were sourced from Netgalley, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble and we hope this helps get readers interested in these creative queer writers!

1. Star Fruit by Kamryn Kingsberry
Summary: When the student theater committee rejects yet another one of Ari’s queer PGM (people of the global majority) scripts, Ya—Ari’s best friend and Atlas’s cousin—takes matters into her own hands and convinces their principal to put on the play anyway. The only condition is that they’ll have to fund the production themselves.
Following Ya’s lead, Ari and Atlas reluctantly agree to take on a project that feels unconquerable. As the three race against the clock to gather the cast, crew, and funds, their friendships are tested when new relationships, jealousy, and resentment threaten to tear apart their lifelong bond.
If that wasn’t enough, a queerphobic parent organization spearheads a series of protests, online transphobic and homophobic hate, and violence, after reading Ari’s script.
All the while, Atlas struggles to fully accept himself, Ari grapples with the daunting challenge of navigating her autism and standing up for herself, and Ya confronts what makes a good ally.

2. Lady’s Knight by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner
Summary: Gwen is sick of hiding—hiding the fact that she’s taken over her father’s blacksmithing duties, hiding her attraction to girls, hiding her yearning for glory as a knight.

3. Kill Creatures by Rory Power
Summary: Last summer, Nan’s three best friends disappeared into Saltcedar Canyon.

4. Castle Swimmer: Volume 2 by Wendy Martin
Summary: The sharks want Kappa dead, and time is running out for Prince Siren to save him. 9. Nobody in Particular by Sophie Gonzales

15. America’s Not-So-Sweetheart by Blair Hanson

17. This Princess Kills Monsters by Ry Herman
Summary: Someone wants to murder Princess Melilot. This is sadly normal.
