We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – The Devil Wears Prada is an iconic movie and deserves all of the praise. It’s a movie that we will stop and watch every single time that we see it on.
We’ve been talking for quite some time about the upcoming sequel. We’ve wanted as much information as we can get, but we’re also not shocked that no one is giving any information. NDA’s? Probably. Or you know, just people having the ability to keep a secret? Probably that too.
Emily Blunt was speaking with ET and was asked about the sequel and what she thinks her character of Emily, would be up to. She said, “It’s so weird. I haven’t even read a script, I don’t know. I’m just like, where is she? I don’t know.”
Asked what she wanted from the film for her character, Emily, the actress said, “Let’s hope we remedy [the beef between Emily and Miranda]. I’m not sure. Can you tell I’m skirting the issue? Can you tell I can’t tell you anything?”
We definitely can tell that she’s not allowed to tell anything, but we were also excited about what she did tell. When she was asked about when the movie would start filming, Blunt said, “July.”
Suddenly, we can’t wait for July.
