Being a fan of a television show sometimes means setting up Google alerts for that show, because whatever happens, you need to know right away. And sometimes you miss one because you didn’t look, but that’s okay. Why? Because when you do see it, it feels like Christmas.
And Christmas came this morning for me, when I saw that Thalia Benson is returning for season 5 of Emily in Paris. Geneviève may not have been my favorite person, but that’s okay. She caused DRAMA, and well, I love the drama on Emily in Paris.
She’ll be recurring, and we can only hope that means that she distracts Gabriel away from Emily. But her joining the recurring cast means she’s joining Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Ashley Park, Eugenio Franceschini, Lucas Bravo, and Lucien Laviscount. The cast is filled with so much talent.
Geneviève is a “villain” in the show. However, in our opinion, she’s just a girl with a lot of daddy issues. She’s an NYU grad, Sylvie’s stepdaughter, and she moved to Paris in Season 4. Sylvie hired her at Agence Grateau, and of course, since she’s American, she had Emily mentor her. Geneviève isn’t innocent, and she wants the quintessential Paris life. She wants Emily’s life. She attempts to steal Emily’s clients and seduce Gabriel. Like we said… DRAMA.
We love it.
Season 5 of Emily in Paris is filming now. We can’t wait to see it. Huge fans. How about you?
