When it comes to Hallmark, we know that they are going to keep us on our toes. There will always be a lot of twists and turns, but that is part of what we love. Especially when we know that they are committed to making inclusive movies and filming all around the world.
After all, we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – it’s like taking a vacation without having to spend money. We admit, though, we never thought about the places that Hallmark has or hasn’t filmed. Well, until Rhiannon Fish brought it up in an interview with Swoon.
We just watched A Machu Picchu Proposal, Rhiannon’s latest film, which was filmed in Peru. It was absolutely stunning. While Hallmark has a history of filming in Canada, we’re thankful that they’ve taken filming on the road. Fish said that Machu Picchu had been on her bucket list, and we think that the movie wouldn’t have been the same if they hadn’t filmed in Peru.
Fish is like us and loves to stay home. She said, “I like to stay at home, so to get to explore the world doing what I love with this incredible crew of people and tell these lovely stories, it’s just an absolute dream come true.”
She’s not a stranger to traveling for Hallmark movies – having traveled to Peru, but also places like Norway and Costa Rica. But where is it that she really hopes they film? It’s a place where she’s heard rumors that Hallmark may go.
Japan.
We’re thinking that this is a h*** yes!
“I’ve never been and I know it’s sort of loosely in discussion, so I’m just openly talking about it that I want to do that next, and I hope I get to do it with that crew before someone else takes that location,” she told the outlet.
Who do we need to talk to about this? Please make it happen for all the Hallmark fans!
