When it comes to movies and television, the norm these days is that the cast and crew sprinkle easter eggs throughout. It’s part of the fun – trying to figure out what is going to happen next.
We’ve been paying a lot of attention to The Summer I Turned Pretty, thinking that we’re going to be able to figure out the clues. All of that is because it has been said that the ending may not be the same as the books. That scares us.
If Belly ends up with Jeremiah, we’d like three seasons of our lives back. Well, kind of. Prime Video making The Summer I Turned Pretty reignited our love for books and adaptations.
We hadn’t noticed this one, but then again, we hadn’t noticed that Jenny Han has been in all of the seasons of The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Jenny Han spoke with Entertainment Weekly and told them about the easter egg that is in season three, episode five, that no one has noticed.
“I do make a cameo in this episode,” Jenny told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s just my voice. The reason why I’m even saying it now is because I don’t think anyone’s going to pick up on it, it’s like the tiniest thing, but it made me laugh.”
Have to admit that we went back and through and watched episode five, and we still can’t find it.
We’re sure that there have been more missed easter eggs, and we want to know all the ones that people have missed. There have to be ones that people have missed.
Jenny Han had this to say about that, “There’s definitely some that people have not picked up on, which I wouldn’t discuss until after everything’s out, and then you could look carefully for some of those little breadcrumbs.”
We need her to discuss all of that ASAP (even though we don’t want the series to end).
