Lately, there are a lot of movies and television shows that are being remade and well, we’re both sad and happy about that. Sad because we loved the original, happy because there is a chance that we’ll get better endings or more information than we got back in the day. And while it has been years since Life, Unexpected, we wouldn’t be against a remake, we’re basking in the knowledge that the cast of the hit show is still friends.
The original stars – Shiri Appleby and Kristoffer Polaha – who played Kate and Baze – threw a baby shower for their TV daughter, Britt Robertson. Robertson played the character, Lux in the show. She is pregnant with her first child with husband, Paul Floyd.
Appleby posted on her Instagram, “Life is Unexpected. Britt’s having a baby, so of course – we had a shower.”
Also in attendance were Austin Basis (Math), Reggie Austin (Jamie), and show creator Liz Tigelaar. We’re loving the fact this cast is showing up for each other, over a decade from when the show ended.
Polaha commented, “Nothing but love, love, love. Much needed love and life!! Couldn’t be more proud. ❤️❤️❤️ And I LOVE that this Lux family keeps on showing up for each other. So rare indeed.”
Arielle Kebbel wrote, “Love the LUX family so much, bummed I had to miss, sending so much love to @brittlrobertson and baby to be!!! ❤️❤️❤️”
Many fans asked if there would ever be a reboot and it seemed that everyone loved this reunion. Ourselves included.
