Fasten your seatbelts because Peaky Blinders is back! Netflix and BBC announced a deal to tell the story of a new generation of Shelbys. Everything from writer and creator Steven Knight. And we’re SO ready for this one!
Plus, the celebration is doubled because there will soon be two new series, each featuring six 60-minute episodes. The series will be shot at Digbeth Local Studios in Birmingham. In addition, both series will be produced by Kudos, which brought us House of Guinness.
Along with this, there will be Garrison Drama, which handled the original series and its upcoming film. On the other hand, Cillian Murphy, Karen Wilson & Martin Haines (Kudos), Jamie Glazebrook (Garrison Drama), Jo McClellan (BBC), Mona Qureshi & Toby Bentley (Netflix) will be executive producers.

What is the Sequel About?
Although it’s still a while before we see the Peaky Blinders return to action, we already have some details about the sequel. The timeline of it will follow on from the eagerly anticipated Peaky Blinders’ feature film. The movie is currently in post-production. And the official synopsis is:

In a new era of Steven Knight’s Peaky Blinders, the race to own Birmingham’s massive reconstruction project becomes a brutal contest of mythical dimensions.
