Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner are at the heart of A24’s upcoming rom-com must-watch Eternity. And the latest trailer gives a little more perspective of what is happening in this afterlife from the perspective of Olsen’s Joan.
For those not familiar, Eternity tells the story of Joan, a woman faced with an impossible choice when she dies. She spent her life with Larry (Teller). And when she dies, Joan reunites with Larry. Things get complicated when Joan is also reunited with her first husband Luke (Turner.)
Then things get even more complicated when Joan needs to make a choice. Does Joan choose an afterlife with the Larry, the man she spent her life with? Or does she explore what could’ve been with a husband that was taken from her way too soon?

The latest official trailer for Eternity frames the decision a little bit more around Joan in comparison to the first official trailer. This isn’t an easy decision to make, no matter how she looks at it. And the Larry and Luke aren’t going down without a fight. But ultimately, this problem makes her re-examine what was and what could’ve been.
Whatever choice she makes, fans of rom-coms and these actors will be there to watch! But if that’s not enough to convince you to watch, consider the fact that Da’Vine Joy Randolph and John Early are both in the movie as well. They’re the ones guiding our hopefuls and keeping this ship (and the laughs) going. And that’s even more reason to watch.
