Boston Blue Season 1, Episode 1 Preview: Faith & Family
Family is forever and there is nothing more important to the Reagans. It is a new time for them – with something that we never thought that we’d see happen. Danny Reagan leaving New York? Never seemed like something that was something that he would do.
But we’re looking forward to seeingDonnie Wahlberg on the streets of Boston. Especially with Sean Reagan having moved to Boston also. Then there is Mika Amonsenwill be taking over the role of Sean Regan – so it feels like a brand new show with character we know.
Hell, we’ve already developed a crush on him.
The series opener is called Faith & Family. In the episode, “Reagan takes a position with the Boston Police Department and is paired with detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green), the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family. The Silver family is comprised of Boston district attorney Mae Silver (Gloria Reuben), Boston PD detective Lena Silver, police superintendent Sarah Silver (Maggie Lawson), rookie cop Jonah Silver (Marcus Scribner) and renowned Baptist pastor Reverend Edwin Peters (Ernie Hudson). As Reagan settles into his new city, he also hopes to reconnect with his younger son, Sean (Mika Amonsen), who is beginning his own career in Boston.”
It’s setting up the new world and that is always exciting. Spin-offs are always fun.
