If there is one thing that we’ve learned in this life, it is that women need to support women. We’re not understanding why it is that it doesn’t always happen. A wild guess when it comes to it – people don’t know both sides of the story and have no idea what is really going on behind closed doors. We’ve been looking at comments surrounding Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber, and we’re like, WTF. The comments that some women are leaving are vicious.
Quick recap: Selena used to date Hailey’s husband, Justin Bieber. Gomez and Bieber broke up. Hailey and Justin got married. End of story.
It’s not that complicated on the surface, but online – people are trying to make it worse.
Bieber recently did an interview with The Wall Street Journal and said – she doesn’t want anything to do with this rumored “beef” between her and Selena Gomez. We think that is fair, especially because it feels like the “issues” that these two have seems somewhat made up.
They’ve both moved beyond that.
Bieber said, “It’s always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn’t ask for that.”
She added, “When people want to see you a certain way and they’ve made up a story about you in their minds, it’s not up to you to change that.”
Gomez posted on her socials and then deleted, but said, “Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants. Doesn’t affect my life whatsoever. It’s just about relevance not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone. And hopefully we can all stop.”
Seriously, when are we all going to leave this all alone? These women are successful, married, and happy in their own respects. What they do or don’t do; how they feel or don’t feel – it’s none of our business.
Let them live.
