Now, if you don’t know, Eastwood has been making the rounds this week doing press for his movie, Regretting You. While talking to the Associated Press, alongside his co-stars Dave Franco and Mason Thames, the subject of Eastwood being in Taylor Swifts Wildest Dreams, music video.
When it was brought up that Eastwood has done the most romantic projects, the subject of the video came up.
“Scott, I don’t know if you know this, did anyone tell you that we all watched the ‘Wildest Dreams’ video on set?,” Franco said to Eastwood.
Eastwood did not know, but the reasoning? Well, that would be because their co-star McKenna Grace did not realize that Eastwood was the man in the video. Franco continued, “Like this is a video dear to her heart, and she put it together in the moment: Scott’s the guy from the ‘Wildest Dreams’ video. She immediately called her mom. She goes ‘Scott’s the guy.’ And we hear her mom through the phone go, ‘No!’ You have a place in a lot of people’s hearts with that video.”
We woulda have been giddy too. We were laughing when Eastwood responded, “I’d never met Taylor Swift before. She called me out of the blue. She said, ‘Hey this is Taylor.’ I’m, like, Taylor who? ‘Taylor Swift.'”
This writer believes that we should all go on a default – when someone says their name is Taylor, we automatically assume that it is Taylor Swift.
