9-1-1 Season 9, Episode 4 ‘Reentry’ brings the space emergency to a close, and honestly, we’re kinda glad. The arc has given us some much-needed Karen time, and a lot of nuanced focus to Athena’s kids, particularly Harry. Plus, the train emergency was actually really cool! However, as always, the thing has sort of dragged on for a little too long, and we’re eager to get back to smaller stakes and more character development.
First, though, we gotta get Athena and Hen back home. And considering we’ve got Angela Bassett in space, we assume this is just going to be Angela Bassett saving the day. And again, Angela Bassett is in your silly little procedural show, we get it. She’s gonna save the day. She is the Angela Bassett.
